On my life’s journey so far, I have been many things — a darkroom technician, journalist, communications managing editor, project manager, gardener, home crafter, lover of beautiful things, ceramicist, a medicine women, Family Constellations facilitator, and Restorative Yoga teacher.
I am also a mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. My three beautiful children—a daughter and two sons—and my granddaughter are my greatest teachers and inspiration.
I have always been drawn to the healing arts, but it wasn’t until 25 years ago that I decided to consciously pursue my healing journey.
In 2011, I completed the Four Nations Ancestors course with Niall Campbell. The following year, I embraced the Native American Red Path, learning their indigenous knowledge, training in sweat lodge practices, ritual and ceremonies.
Around the same time, I began exploring my creative side through ceramics with Katherine Glenday, discovering how working with clay helped me process my emotions.
When I saw the patterns in my family system and how I was perpetuating them in my life, I decided to start training as a Family Constellations facilitator in South Africa in 2013.
Between 2015 and 2018, I stayed in the US where I deepened my studies with leading experts Stephan Hausner, Francesca Mason Boring, Dan Cohen, and Emily Bielefelt.
In 2016, I did Restorative Yoga training in the U.S., when I realised just how deeply the body holds trauma.
Ceramics and Family Constellations are the two threads I highlight here — but the weaving holds everything I have trained in, everything I have lived. All of me is in this work.
Now, my work is rooted in deep listening to the body. Whether through Family Constellations, ceramics, or yoga, I invite a slowing down, a return to presence.
In stillness, we discover what has always been there—an innate knowing, a place where all parts of ourselves are welcome.
